Franzen Cleared to Play

Finally some good news from the medical room.

From the beginning of this young season, Red Wings' fans have been forced to watch addition after addition to the injured reserve list, with no subtractions until perhaps now.

Ken Holland confirms Johan Franzen has cleared his baseline test and could be available to play Thursday against the Flames. If Franzen does play, he will only have missed one game from his concussion -- a win against the Coytes, making the 4-day break a very handy one indeed.
